> Lore is an iPhone app that replaces doomscrolling with short, true stories. The same scroll you already do — except you finish it knowing something you didn’t.

## How it works

- **1. Open it instead.** The queue, the ad break, the ten minutes before bed. Wherever the reach for your phone usually goes, this goes there.
- **2. Swipe through real stories.** Short cards about people, history, science, space, and art — things that actually happened. If one catches you, tap it and read the whole story.
- **3. Come away with something.** That’s the difference. Ten minutes of doomscrolling leaves you with nothing; ten minutes here leaves you knowing something you can actually use.

## The scroll isn’t the problem

What arrives is. Scrolling is just a way of asking for something new every few seconds — a reasonable thing to want. The trouble is that the usual feeds answer with outrage, envy, and noise. Lore answers with something true.
